With over 30+ years of saltwater experience, Captain Phil has conquered any challenge that the East Coast fishery has put in front of him. Whether it’s trolling, live baiting or bottom fishing, Captain Phil is a master angler of any category. He is currently in the middle of his fifth captain’s license, which is equivalent to 25 years in the business of finding fish for his customers.

Captain Phil has been affiliated over the years with such recognizable factories as Shimano rods and reels, Berkley Monofilament, Power Pro braided line, Frabill Nets, Cannon Downriggers, Daichi/Trueturn Hooks and Williamson Lures.

The FishFinder has had numerous articles written about its adventures in the Florida Sportsman, Saltwater Sportsman, FishFinder Magazine, the Orlando Sentinel and USA Today.

Over the years, Captain Phil delivered a fishing report as part of a morning radio show on the East Coast of Central Florida. Boater’s World, Outdoor World, Central Florida Offshore Anglers and numerous regional clubs throughout the Mid-Atlantic region have requested his expertise as a guest speaker.

Rigging baits, fishing techniques and how to rig your offshore boat were just a few topics covered in his clinics. Many tournaments have seen The FishFinder’s name on top of the leader board on the bottom-fishing categories as well as the trolling categories.

The Fish-Finder has held several IGFA World Records through the course of its career.
